BOARDING & PET SITTING

We designed our boarding facility with cleanliness, safety, and security in mind! Here at K-9 Country Club we offer a choice of three different sized runs for your canine companion to stay in overnight. Our geriatric or special needs fur babies aren’t forgotten! We have an option for a separate, quieter area for their stay.

  • Boarding stays are charged by the day and not by the overnight stay.

  • You are welcome to bring ONE comfort item like a blanket or favorite toy and request a bed for your dog’s stay. Check out why we use KURANDA beds!

  • Cats boarding with us are offered either VIP accommodations (private rooms), or standard kennels.

  • Kennels fit one adult cat or 2 kittens, and the duplex kennels can fit two adult cats or four kittens. our vip rooms can fit up to 4 cats each, but they must be related or reside in the same home. We have room for up to 18 cats overall!

  • Customers are required to provide all food/treats and bag them out by the day. we will provide litter pans, litter, bowls, and some toys, but you are welcome to bring any of your kitty’s toys or other familiar comfort items to make their stay more enjoyable.

  • While boarding at K-9, your dog will be in group play, where they will get dirty. We highly recommend you request a departure bath during the reservation and contract signing process.

In-home pet-sitting

  • Now offering in-home & on-site residential pet sitting!

  • A screened employee will be in touch with you at all times and can do drop ins for potty breaks, walks, and playing sessions to overnight stays.

  • Great option if you have an older pet, nervous pet, or just a pet that would better enjoy staying home.

  • Starts at $30 dollars & includes the care of dogs, cats, & small animals

On-site boarding

  • We work hard to ensure a clean environment, where staff are always on site 24/7 to ensure your pet is enjoying their stay. There are opportunities to have your dog in daycare, get one on one play time and snuggle time, and our new option of property walks. Our facility is temperature controlled and is ready for any season!

  • Starts at $30.00 per day for dogs, $25.00 for cats

  • We offer various run size accommodations

  • VIP runs start at $47.00 per day for dogs, $35.00 per day for cats

  • We have Indoor & Outdoor options as well

State of Illinois Kennel License Requirements

Requirements-Dogs

  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

  • Distemper (DHPP, DA2PP, DHPPV, DA2PPV)

  • Rabies

  • Minimum age requirement is 3 months (12 weeks)

  • If your dog is six months or older, they must be spayed or neutered unless you provide a veterinarian exemption

Requirements-Cats

  • Rabies

  • FVRCP

  • We recommend that your cat receive the Feline Leukemia vaccination

  • All cats 24 weeks (SIX MONTHS) or older must be spayed or neutered unless you provide a veterinarian exemption

Appointments cannot be confirmed for any service without vaccine documents.

All major holidays require a 50% non-refundable deposit placed during your reservation

The holidays requiring deposit are as follows:
Christmas week/eve/day, Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July day/week/weekend, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving week/weekend. Please plan ahead if you’re wanting to board, we do sell out very quickly!

SOME OF OUR GUESTS CAN HAVE REACTIONS TO OUR CLEANING PRODUCTS, THE PEA GRAVEL THEY PLAY IN LOCATED IN OUR OUTDOOR PENS, OR GENERAL ALLERGIES TO OTHER DOGS OR THE ENVIRONMENT. THESE CAN CAUSE SKIN REACTIONS, INTESTINAL ISSUES, AND OTHER MEDICAL ISSUES THAT CAN BE EMERGENT.

PLEASE READ OUR CONTRACTS THOROUGHLY BEFORE SIGNING AND UNDERSTAND THAT K-9 COUNTRY CLUB WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, ILLNESS, OR DEATH OF ANY CIRCUMSTANCE WHILE YOUR PET IS IN OUR CARE.
