While nobody likes to utter that phrase, it’s unfortunately a necessary evil in order for any business to continue to be successful and care for its property, employees, and offer the best services to its customers.
With that said, in order for us to continue to remain competitive while also surviving the constant rise of operating costs, K-9 must institute a moderate service price increase starting December 15th 2023. Our updated price lists will be provided prior to that date (and available on our website, Facebook, and in-house) any time after for you to download/save or photograph.
This increase comes with a significant amount of forethought and with the understanding that hopefully, with the political climate being unstable, inflation growing every day, and employment costs increasing by 200% over the next two years, we won’t have to raise it so significantly again for some time. Stability in the economy is something all of our businesses are struggling with at the moment, and there doesn’t appear to be a light at the end of the tunnel just yet.
Our employees are our number one priority (even with your pups of course, but without them, we wouldn’t have a business…) so they need to be taken care of as best we can. K-9 is proud to say that its employees are offered the highest industry standard rate vs our pricing & expenditures. We will not waver on that as we believe that the best employees are the ones that are not only listened to, but compensated for as well. Of course, that requires us to be slightly higher in our service pricing as operating costs continue to put us behind a wall. Energy, inflation, supplies all come into play in these decisions and they’re not taken lightly.
